Step 2:  Fill Out Your Paperwork ONLINE!

You will be emailed a link to our Client Portal to complete all the necessary paperwork.  This can be completed on a smartphone, tablet or computer.  Be sure to bookmark this link!  You can always come back to the portal to update any changes in contact information, insurance policies, and even pay your bill!

Step 3:  Insurance & Payment

Once your paperwork is finished, our staff can check Benefits and Eligibility on your insurance or discuss payment options for private pay clients.

Step 4:  The Actual Appointment

Your first appointment will take 60-90 minutes.  Please bring a picture ID and your insurance card so we may get copies for your file.  These can also be emailed to denise@journeysfamilycounseling.com or texted to our main number 405-887-1314 prior to your appointment time.

If the client is a minor, at least one parent needs to be present during the intake, but not necessarily in the room.  For a minor, the parents are invited into the beginning of the first session, but then asked to skedaddle after enough history is given.  Parents:  Please don't take offense!  Kiddos need time alone with the therapist to build trust and rapport.

Step 5:  Your Next Appointment

All of our counselors handle their own schedules.  After each session, your counselor will discuss the next available time/s and book accordingly.  No need to contact our office or wait for someone to contact you!  Easy peasy!

At any time during this process if you have questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our main number, 405-887-1314 (text or call) for additional information.  We are happy to help!
